Inspiration on your doorstep

It is really interesting how a clients choice of colour and texture is influenced by the season.

This autumn it has struck me how it is reds, yellows, golds and greens that are featuring so heavily on my clients wish list….and it’s not hard to see why.

This weekend I was lucky enough to be able to walk my dog for an hour or so and photograph mushrooms, leaves, conkers and chestnuts around Frithsden Woods.

I came back and spent another hour pouring through my new fabric pattern books that reflected the colours and textures that I had seen on my walk – lovely!
